Alcohol Community Treatment Services, Inc. (ACTS) is formed

Licensure is secured to provide drug abuse treatment services

ACTS open Adult Residential Treatment Program in Tarpon Springs

The Juvenile Addictions Receiving Facility Opens

ACTS changes name to Agency for Community Treatment Services

The Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC) for truant and delinquent youth becomes operational and is the first program of its kind

ACTS opens the Adult Addictions Receiving Facility

ACTS becomes CARF Certified for first time and is recertified every three years since

The Amethyst Respite Center Inebriate Shelter opens

ACTS contracts with Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners to become the lead agency for Mental Health Jail Diversion

ACTS receives grant through Housing and Urban Development to start the HEART program which offers 100 permanent housing scattered site locations in Hillsborough County

ACTS assumes control over the Polk Juvenile Assessment Center in Bartow

ACTS Purchases Firemen’s Hall, which will be renovated in 2022 to become first psychosocial clubhouse for adults seeking mental health recovery in Hillsborough County when it opens in 2023

ACTS opens Intermediate Care Program at Sandra Prince Samaritan Home

ACTS activated its pandemic alert plan due to the impact of COVID-19

ACTS opens Intermediate Care Program at 131st location

ACTS completed construction of the ACTS Clubhouse, which opened its doors to members on Nov. 1. ACTS also moved all Wraparound Housing beds to the Drew Park campus, and opened a residential treatment program in Tampa on Nebraska Ave.

ACTS opened a Therapeutic Group Home at the former Juvenile Addictions Receiving Facility location (JARF and the AARF are now co-located at 50th Street in Tampa to) serve area’s most vulnerable youth. ACTS administration moved from 56th Street to new location at Buschwood Park in Tampa, and started rolling out a new logo highlighting the positive impact we make on the lives of the people we serve.
