If you or a loved one is experiencing a crisis due to substance use, ACTS is here to help. We provide comprehensive crisis care services for individuals in the Tampa Bay area who are actively struggling with alcohol or drugs at our Addictions Receiving Facility (ARF.) Our facility is open 24/7 to ensure that immediate support is always available when it’s needed most. The ARF offers a safe place to detox from substances in Hillsborough County and serves individuals throughout the DCF Suncoast Region.

In addition to our detox services at the ARF, the program also offers:
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
For individuals who need it, we provide medication-assisted treatment to help manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings, in conjunction with counseling and behavioral therapies.
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox allows individuals to undergo medically supervised detoxification without the need for an extended stay in a residential facility. This approach is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms or those who have a strong support system at home. Outpatient detox provides 4 hours of structured activities daily.
Hospital Bridge
This program is designed to provide critical support and continuity of care for individuals transitioning from hospital care in Tampa to community-based treatment for substance use treatment. Our program serves as a vital link, ensuring that patients with substance use disorders or behavioral health needs receive the necessary follow-up care to maintain their recovery and overall well-being.

Marchman Act
The Marchman Act is a Florida law that allows for the involuntary assessment, stabilization, and treatment of individuals struggling with substance abuse. It can be initiated by family members, healthcare professionals, or law enforcement when someone is unable to recognize their need for treatment due to their substance use and is at risk of harm to themselves or others. The goal is to provide a pathway to recovery through court-ordered intervention and care.
