ACTS Housing Programs in Tampa
At ACTS, our Housing Division is dedicated to providing safe, stable, and supportive housing solutions for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Tampa Bay area. Our programs are designed to help those in need transition to permanent housing and receive the comprehensive support necessary for long-term stability.
Permanent Supportive Housing for Veterans
This ACTS-owned duplex serves up to six veterans who are homeless, providing safe and accessible permanent housing. Homeless Engagement and Retention in Tenancy Program (HEART) and More HEART
The HEART and More HEART programs offer permanent supportive housing through a total of 136 units of scattered site leased apartments. These programs are designed for individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness and have a disabling condition. Residents receive comprehensive support from an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, ensuring they have the resources needed to maintain their housing and improve their well-being. Polk Permanent Supportive Housing Program
The Polk Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides housing through 45 units of scattered site leased apartments for individuals who have experienced homelessness or chronic homelessness and have a disabling condition. Program participants receive ongoing support from ACTS case managers, helping them navigate the challenges of maintaining housing and accessing community resources. Hillsborough County Permanent Supportive Housing
This program offers permanent supportive housing to 38 individuals and families who have experienced chronic homelessness. ACTS operates 14 two-bedroom apartments for families and individuals who share a two-bedroom apartment, as well as a 10-unit one-bedroom apartment complex dedicated to serving veterans. Amethyst Recovery Center/Wraparound Housing with Behavioral Health Services
This program provides short-term housing for up to 67 individuals experiencing homelessness and who have a disabling condition on our campus at Drew Park in Tampa. Referrals come through the CoC Coordinated Intake priority list. In addition to the 67 beds, there are 8 scattered site apartments available for families. The program offers comprehensive behavioral health services with care coordination, with the goal of transitioning residents to permanent supportive housing and connecting them with primary and behavioral health care and income resources to sustain their housing.
